Detroit Moxie's Weekend Roundup

Buy local this holiday season and support the independent businesses in your area. Included in the Roundup are a few local craft fairs to get you started. Still stumped? Check out your neighborhood shops, there are treasures to be found everywhere.

Weekend Roundup

1. 3rd Annual Detroit Holiday Food Bazaar (Facebook link) - A pop-up marketplace featuring a variety of Detroit's small independent food vendors. December 7th.

2. The Snow Queen at the Bonstelle Theatre - An adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen tale featuring puppets, music and supernatural magic. Through December 9th.

3. A Civil War Christmas - Head to Historic Fort Wayne and learn about Christmas traditions from the Civil War era. Tours last 1.5 hours. December 8th.

4. DIYpsi - An indie art fair featuring unique, hand crafted gifts. Buy local this holiday season and support independent crafters and artists. Also, beer! December 8—9.

5. Historic Hubbard Winter Market - This classic winter market in Southwest Detroit features our friends from Tashmoo Biergarten, local artists, crafts, music, food and more. December 9th.

Ann Arbor is also having Tiny Expo this weekend, which looks like it will be pretty great!
