Detroit Moxie's Weekend Roundup

Just as we’re deep into Halloween season, we’re also deep into October baseball. Our Detroit Tigers are one game away from the World Series. Last night’s game was postponed due to rain or the threat of rain or something silly like that. That’s OK, we’ve got this.

Weekend Roundup

1. Halloween Double Feature - Head to the Redford Theatre to get your scare on this weekend! Enjoy The Bride of Frankestein with Boris Karloff and Frankenstein meets the Wolf Man with Lon Chaney on the big screen. October 19—20.

2. Halloween Science - The Cranbrook Institute of Science is the place to be for blazing pumpkins, cockroach races, medieval-style warfare, and a haunted rollercoaster ride in the planetarium. October 20th. (Pre-registration by 10/18 is strongly encouraged.)

3. Wheelhouse Detroit tours - Take a bike tour through the neighborhood of Del Ray or explore the architecture of Belle Isle on two wheels. October 20—21.

4. Theatre Bizarre - Detroit's legendary Halloween party—otherwise known as the Greatest Masquerade on Earth—takes over the Masonic Temple. Zombo says that the online ticket sales are over and that the event is sold out but there still might be tickets available at retailers. October 20th.

5. Target Family Days at The Henry Ford - Enjoy free admission to THF, hands-on & interactive programs, and live entertainment. October 21st.

Bonus: Blocktoberfest with Atwater and Tashmoo

Double Bonus: Zoo Boo
