It's getting all spooky around here as we head into Halloween weekend. Plus, our Detroit Tigers are in the World Series! Tons of visitors will be in town for the World Series, let's show them how awesome Detroit is!

1. Ferndale Zombie Walk (Facebook link) - The New Bar is hosting this zombie affair benefitting the Ferndale Youth Assitance. Get your dead on plus live music. October 26th.

2. Champions - Head to Planet Ant for this show by improv troupe Question Marky Mark. How far will two slackers go in order NOT to win? October 26—27, November 2—3, November 9—10.

3. Après X - The Official TEDxDetroit After Party - Come network, hear some of the most popular speakers from the past few years of TEDxDetroit, and live entertainment by Detroit CYDI, Cold English, and Saggitronics featuring Charlie Slick. Plus food & drink! October 26th.

4. Haunted in the House - A classic halloween costume party at the Detroit Opera House with cash bar and prizes for best costume. October 26th.

5. Polish Soup Festival - Enjoy all of your favorite Polish soups plus pierogies, sausage, golabki and more. Live music by the Kielbasa King and Polish dance performances. October 28th.
